Nearby are well stocked supermarkets, a bakers and a butchers. There is a good choice of tavernas dotted along the harbour and seashore offering a variety of fresh fish and home-cooked traditional Greek food.
Nidri, with its livelier nightlife is about a 10 minute car drive away.
